It boasts a large comfortable waiting room, a private room for viewing tapes on all procedures performed at the Centre, and a fully accredited ambulatory surgery centre offering the newest technologies in patient care and surgical procedures. The doctors are certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and perform all aspects of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery in Buffalo, NY.

Procedures performed at the Plastic Surgery centre include; facelift, eyelid surgery, forehead & browlift, skin treatments and skin cancers, surgery of the nose, chin and cheek augmentation, ear surgery (otoplasty), and body contouring procedures including liposuction, breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lift, abdominoplasty, and breast reconstruction following mastectomy.

The surgeons also perform a full range of Plastic and Reconstructive procedures in the hospital when out-patient office surgery is not indicated.

The Aesthetic Associates Centre is not just an ordinary Medical/Dental facility. In it's 13,000 sq ft. facility, it boasts a Cosmetic and Reconstructive Dental Practice, complete with state-of-the-art Digital x-rays and imaging, 5 Dental operatories including one specially designed for oral surgery and dental implantology. All phases of dental Implantology are performed right in one location!.

Samuel Shatkin, D.D.S., M.D.,is licensed in both Medicine and Dentistry and is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He has a dual degree in both Medicine and Dentistry. He has been in private practice in this field for over 35 years. Prior to 1989, he had an office at 50 High Street in Buffalo, and now is in practice at the Aesthetic Associates Centre in Amherst. His major concentration currently is in the areas of Aesthetic Surgery, including, Facial Rejuvenation and Skin Resurfacing. He has been trained in the use of the state of the art technologies, including Chemical Peels and Microdermabrasion.

He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, the American Medical Society , the American Dental Association and the Buffalo Plastic Surgery Society, to name a few. He is on staff at most of the Western New York area hospitals including Kaleida Health System and The Catholic Health System. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, the Lipoplasty Society, the American Medical Society and is currently the President of the Buffalo Plastic Surgery Society.

Dr. Todd Ellis Shatkin is the director of dentistry at the Centre, and performs all aspects of General and Cosmetic Dentistry. He has been in private practice in dentistry since completing dental school at the University of Pacific in San Francisco in 1989. His major concentration is in the areas of Aesthetic Dentistry, including bleaching, bonding and veneers, and Restorative Dentistry.

He has been in the forefront of new dental procedures and is an expert in Dental Bleaching, and the developer of bleaching products throughout the dental industry. He is also performing dental implants, including the newest "mini implants", which can be immediately "loaded" with the dentures or prosthesis, to offer an immediate solution to poorly fitting dentures.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Interrnational College of Oral Implantology.
